  I have been to about six different Secretary of State offices. Most are tediously slow EXCEPT THIS ONE!!! This one is the best. I have not written a review in the past to keep it a secret but saw a slam and thought I should stand up for the great workers at this location because they deserve kudos for the great job they have always done for me. I have four vehicles plus a trailer so there is always some need to upgrade plates or search for title to sell or renew license or something. The person who wrote the negative review must have been having a bad day or just caught the place at a busy time.

  I've dealt with plenty of rude people in my life but these people like publicly humiliating & frustrating "customers". To further insult me after publicly humiliating me in front of my children and others, they turned me away at the counter. Gotta love these government workers who buy their jobs or were favored the job by someone they know. I PROMISE you that it is the case with the majority of these horrible government workers that you come across at places like the Sec of State. Which is why they can be horrible to us- because they can't be fired because they know someone. You don't lose your job if you bought it or were favored a job by a politiican or someone connected to the city, state or county. I watched this first hand for years! The Chicago land area is one of the most politically corrupt arenas in the country. And we pay for it twice- through our tax dollars and then again via humiliation/frustration. NOT OK ILLINOIS
